In my bag.

5 Mar

Today, I was hanging out with my friends and the topic came up of the silly things that we had in our purse. My friend, who teaches elementary school, had a pack of crayons in her purse. Me, who is a math teacher at heart, had a million pencils in my purse. Another friend of mine who is a paraprofessional was carrying around her home hours log sheet. We found it all rather adorable that we carried around the things near and dear to our professions.

So I decided that I’d share with you what you might find in my purse. Here is what I am carrying around with my on a daily basis. Well, minus my camera because that’s usually in there too. Obviously it was in my hands at the time of the photo.

What's in my bag? (by caitysparkles)
From left to right, top to bottom:
my purse, my inhalers, benadryl, school medical kit (gloves and gause with instructions), a book, wallet, checkbook, daily planner, moleskine journals, breathspray, chapstick, a crayon from my friend for St. Patrick’s Day (haha), my phone, my sparkly hair clips, nail file, my crazy amounts of pens and pencils that I don’t need but insist on carrying with me at all times, and my keys

So… what’s in your bag?

I did a vlog about this! My school bag is one thing – it has paper, pencils, notebooks, calculator, ruler… also my wallet, sometimes clothing (like my uniform).

My only other bag is my work bag, which has my How to be an Awesome Cashier guidebook, some sheets of paper with PLU codes written on them, some old paystubs, a bunch of pens, and often my work uniform.

I don’t carry around a bag at any other time. I just keep my money in my pocket. :P

Ah, I love “in my bag” photos! I don’t know why, but I could look at them on Flickr for hours…

In the bag I bring to university, I usually just have a pen, pacer, notebook, bottle of water, and keys, with mobile phone and wallet kept in my pockets. Sometimes I’ll have a textbook or a few other random things, but I don’t like to carry too much around.

I used to have carry a purse with me all the time, but college has taught me to downsize my purse materials and to fit it all in a slim wristlet. ID, money, debit card, and farecard for public transport is all I need!

What a cute purse! Also have to say AWESOME book choice. Dean Koontz is one of my favorite authors and LOVE Dragon Tears.

In my bag; wallet, keys, pens, pencils, two Sharpies, a mini notebook, bus schedule. Bor-ing.

Depending on what day it is, you could also find my hat for work, a five-subject notebook for school, my netbook, or whatever I happen to be reading at the moment. (Now is Julie and Julia. Finally.)

And lots of receipts and gum wrappers, in between trash dumps.

Wow, compared to my bag, your bag is pretty tidy!

I have nothing to do with my job in my bag. (I’m a dairy farmer).

I have a crap load of lip balms, (some have lost lids, haha) and basicly a ton of rubbish. I hardly use my bag because I carry around my wallet, keys and phone in my hands. Sounds funny, but I think it looks cool. Plus I don’t have a “Grown ups” kind of back. I just have some cloth bag that came free with a mag. Haha.

How is your move to NZ coming along? Have you picked which area you are moving too yet? I live in Christchurch (South island).

I don’t carry a purse anywhere, and my schoolbag doesn’t really care anything except books, papers, and my lunch. I do have my keys, a couple of pens, my bus pass, money, and a pack of gum… all in one jacket pocket!

Oh guess, what? I don’t carry a purse:) Which is probably why I am constantly loosing my keys–LOL! I do have a bag that stays in my car with a water bottle, whatever book I am reading, some art supplies, a notebook and pen. Just in case I am stranded…

That’s a lot of pencils, lens, and note books. O.o The crayon made me laugh though. :)
