Back in business!

I worked all day on a new layout and getting all my content back up! I would love some opinions and also I’d love if you poked around to check for errors and spelling mistakes. It would help me out a ton. I typed up most of it from scratch, even a lot of my blogroll links… so make sure your link works! Also, if you’re not on the blogroll and you’d like to be just speak up! I am just overwhelmed and I’m not trying to intentionally leave anyone out!
Josh and I were talking about last night’s sushi adventures today and we were talking about how my friend Emily is allergic to crab. We started talking about allergies and how they are strange and random sometimes. I said how I’m not allergic to anything that I know of and Josh’s response was:
The only allergy I’ve ever had is to not being awesome, so obviously I’ve never had a reaction.
I burst out laughing. It dawned on me today that Josh says the most hilarious, random things all the time and they really keep me going. Josh sends me random text messages all the time, some relevant to the conversation we are having but still hilarious and some just out of the blue that just really give me those much needed pick-me-ups to get me through the day. I really am lucky to have that.
What was the last random funny thing that someone said to you?
The main issue I can see with this layout is that none of the pages have titles! This page is showing up in my tabs as “http://c…business”, for instance. :) I also think you should add some styling to the search bar (to get rid of the borders, or have a differently-coloured border, or whatever), because in my browser it’s currently looking like this.
Overall I like it, though. I like the headings in the sidebar/”bottombar”, and the layout overall is neat and clean and very readable.
What Josh said made me giggle, too. :D I’m not sure what the exact most recent funny thing someone said to me was, but I can remember recent ones. A few guys I know are moving into a flat together, and a couple of days ago one of them commented, “I want to receive a telegram.” About one minute later this tuned into, “All right, forget phones, we’re going to do all our business by telegram now!” Then another one of them complained, “UGH, and you’re the one who can actually do it, because your name’s on the lease!”
“That’s right, and I intend to make use of this.”
“You’re going to be a fascist lease-holder!”
“Well, you know, that’s just how it is, right?”
I don’t know, that just cracked me up.

HAHA I know what you mean about randomness. My husband is VERY random too. We’ll talk about a subject then let’s say we are occupied with something else and like an hour later he’ll say something pertaining to that previous conversation but yet I HAVE NO IDEA what he is talking about, lol. Or he’ll just be random in general – yup gotta love it lol

I think the last funny thing I heard wasn’t directed at me. Rather, it was a cutting remark at someone else who TOTALLY deserved it and it took a lot for me to not burst out laughing :P

I like the red and black although if I stare at it too long my eyes begin to cross haha. One day Randy came down from bed at 7am and looked at me and yelled KOOLAID. I was like WTF? He said he had a dream about the family guy episode where they kept going OH YEAH.
I like the colors, and I like that the “reading part” is a nice, easy on the eyes white.
Mike is always saying random, funny things to make me laugh, but I can’t remember any of them right now.
Aww, Josh is wonderful! I know my boyfriend has said a lot of hilarious things but I can’t remember any from the top of my head!
I am allergic to coconuts. :P And electric toothbrushes; they make me sneeze! But some allergies are really weird; I believe my little brother has a mild reaction to salt. O__O

I love that your hubs texts you funny stuff during the day. Mine hates texting…it’s our age and then he has one of those fancy touch screens and he says his fingers are too big (they are) hit the wrong keys!
He always hated writing anything so maybe that’s it.
But he is funny and I’ve loved his one liners for 40 years…yup 40 years, married when I was 17 and pregnant and two years before that. And he says the craziest sometimes dumbest stuff but I find it hilarious!
He’s an accountant and works in an office with 3-30 somethings. For Mardi Gras they brought in necklaces to wear and gave him one of all skulls. He put it right on and wore it all day seeing clients. They couldn’t believe it. One told him the other day that she could have worked from home but came in just for his one liners. How sweet is that. I think he’s their father figure.
The layout looks fine to me, but for some reason, this comment text box (the one I’m typing in right now) doesn’t have a border! I kind of thought it wasn’t there until I clicked down here and started typing. Other than that, I really like it. It’s easy on the eyes.

Loving the new layout. The only thing that I see that’s a bit off is that here in the comments form, the Name, Mail and Website boxes all have borders around them while the actual comment text box doesn’t (Google Chrome)
Isn’t it wonderful to have men in our lives who can brighten our day with such randomness? Final is the same way; always keeping me laughing XD I can’t think of specifics but he’s the same way!

My boyfriend says crazy stuff all the time. I love his quick whit, and wacky scene of humour. He often sends me werid text messages while he’s at work. My favourite to date is:

I’m a tad too tired to check for spelling errors, but I’ll add my 2c and say the layout looks good. :) A definite upgrade from Kubrick! :P Neither Firefox nor Opera are crying over the site, so I’d say the code is okay.
The most recent funny thing anyone’s said to me, hmm… it would have to be a MSN convo with Martin, who, when going over my old photos, said “Must’ve been a whale ago.” Still not sure if that was a Freudian-type typo or a joke… :P
I thought about your question, couldn’t remember, and then it hit me that actually just yesterday the boyfriend had me cracking up. I can’t remember what he said but I remember laughing and it reminding me of when we were living together.
The layout is very compelling, looks good!
