I have lost so many things throughout my life. I lose my mind every day, that’s one thing!

• Lots of clothes. I had a bunch of clothes that were put away for safekeeping when I was moving around to my apartment to New Zealand and back again. There were a couple boxes of them! They were old clothes from college that really hadn’t fit anymore but with the way I am losing weight now I was eager to try and start to fit into some of them again. Well, all of these clothes are lost.
• A few harddrives worth of data. Photographs, old papers and projects for school, music files, endless amounts of who knows what – all gone. Some things are just not important enough to get backed up or, lets face it, you just don’t get around to it in time. It happens to the best of us a few times in our life. Ah, the joys of technology.
• Keys. I lost my keys at the beach once. It was really annoying but thankfully that time I had gone with someone else so I was able to get home. It’s also a good thing that all the keys on my keyring were easy to make copies of. I lost some pretty cool keychains, though.
• My wallet. Yup, I had the joy of losing my wallet once. That’s not fun especially when you have to go get a new driver’s license, library card, student ID card, insurance cards, and cancel the bank cards and get new ones of those, too. Thank goodness I wasn’t carrying around my social security card. That would have been a nightmare. I did lose some cash but at least that can always be replaced. I was pretty poor at the time, too, so it’s not like it was even that much!
• My virginity. Well, I’m not going to tell you the raunchy details but obviously that’s an important thing to lose. Hey, I’m a married woman here – what did you expect? ;)
