Scruffy.
Yesterday our family dog died. Even though I wasn’t as close with Scruffy as my sister was and even though I don’t live at home anymore, he was my dog for over 10 years and I’m sad that he is gone.
Moko lost a friend too. Before we moved out of my parent’s house, they were pals.

10 years is a long time for a dog, it’s like 70 years old. I’m sorry to hear Scruffy died. : (
Awww Caity!!! I’m so sorry! *hugs* I know what it’s like to lose a pet. My first cat I had since I was 4 and I lost her when I was in the sophomore year of hihgschool. Anyway, I’m so sorry for your loss.

I sympathise with you :( When I’d just finished year 11, the cat I’d had for my entire life died, and it was so saddening. I hope you’re all right!

I’m really sorry to heactcr about Scruffy. It’s never a nice thing to lose a pet, even if they are old. Look back on the fun times with Scruffy and cherish those memories!

I’m so sorry, Caity! Losing a pet is like losing a family member. None of my pets have ever died, but one of my cats ran away, and I missed him terribly. Hugs to your family.

I had a dream last night about Princess. She was there with my dead grandmas and a bunch of old people I didn’t know and she was jumping on me and kissing me and running in the snow. Buffy’s sick and I’d like to think this is Princess’ way of telling me Buffy’ll be OK even if it’s bad.

Caity, I’m so sorry about Scruffy! I have had to put 2 dogs down, give away 3 birds, and put down a horse I’ve had for my entire life </3. I know what it's like to lose a pet, and how upsetting it can be. Even if you aren't that close to them. But it'll be okay :). I'm sure Scruffy is in a much better place now…wherever that is.
Anyways, sorry I haven't been commenting lately. I've been busy, and just got a new domain, so I haven't really been commenting back to many people on my blogroll. So, hello again ♥.
Aww :( I’m sorry honey. I can’t imagine my dogs dying and I don’t want to. I mean I’ve had dogs die in the past that I was extremely close to. For me it’s really hard losing a pet. Especially, ones you’re close to. :(

I’m so sorry to hear about your dog. We lost one of our family dogs on Tuesday, so I know all too well how you feel. He was 15 and a half.. a little black cocker spaniel. :( I miss him dearly.

My old dog Abby passed away a few years back of cancer in her throat/neck area and it was just devastating because I was close to her. I seem to get more choked up over animals then anything else it seems.

Losing a family pet is like losing a person. I had dogs, cats and horses for most of my life. It’s been hard when they’ve died…
My dog is now 15-years-old and blind, but she still gets around. I don’t know what my cat, Aggie, will do when the dog passes. It’s amazing how animals, who normally would not be friends, can be friends when they live together.
I am sorry for your loss and your family’s loss.
