I had a fantastic day today. My parents were kind enough to let me use their house for the afternoon since I wanted to have a party and my little studio apartment really limits what I can do. I hosted a BBQ and pool party with my friends in “that house I grew up in” and we had a fantastic time! We all went to go see fireworks at the beach at the end of the night.
I think we tried to make a 4 here, haha.

Aw I love fireworks & sparklers! I wish there were more dates in the UK that they’re allowed to be sold; we can only buy them in November for Guy Fawkes & December for New Year.
The beach looks like fun.

That’s really nice of your parents to do that. So, you grew up in a house right on the beach? That sounds really nice! Looks like you guys had a great time. The sky is beautiful in those first two pictures.

Sounds like you had fun! Looks like it too from the night photos. We don’t really have anything here like that.. Well, Waitangi Day, but I don’t think anyone takes it very serious anymore. In saying that, I’ve been caved up for the past 2 years. :P

Being Australian I didn’t celebrate 4th of July, but I did have a reasonably good Sunday. I can’t actually remember what I did, mind you, but nothing stands out in my memory as being bad/upsetting/otherwise disastrous, so I’m content to let my memory label it a “good” day. ;)

Beautiful pictures!!! I worked on the 4th then went home and played WoW haha. I haven’t done anything for the 4th in years :( I miss it. Maybe next year?

my 4th was so toned down this year from what it usually is, but I was like well theres only so many times i can go to the rent ladys house to watch fireworks…at least in a row!! :) but i’m glad you had fun. made me jealous :)
