Torchlight

20 Feb

Well, there’s one more day until my lovely one week break from work is over. Why do vacations always seem to fly by? I feel like yesterday was Tuesday!

Today, lots of things got accomplished around here and I also accomplished my awesome task of relaxing and playing video games all day. It’s what I do to relax and I enjoy sitting in my pajamas for hours on end playing a great game.

I started playing Torchlight. I bought it for sale on Steam a while back but never got around to playing it until now. The trailer could probably explain it better than I could. Basically, just think Diablo with loads more awesome.

It’s a fantastic game. I am playing a vanquisher named Caity with a pet named Mokie. Not much of a surprise there.

I’m already level 15!
Some random kid in town told me I was big and strong.
He obviously knows what he’s talking about.

Torchlight gets Caity’s seal of approval!

LOL yea I was gonna say, that looks like a Diablo rip-off. Haha.

It does look cool, but I think I’ll stick to WoW. At least until the hubby buys me Star Trek Online. Then I’ll be free of WoW xD At least for a while. ;)

Titan’s quest looks similar to that and was like $5 on steam last week. I’m not a diablo fan though. I have been played the starcraft 2 beta (my brother got an invite. OMG AWESOMESAUCE X100000)

I personally never was a Diablo fan (I know, heresy, but I’m more into pure RPGs or pure action, not hybrids), but I never was “against” it either, so… Torchlight looks neat. :)

I need to look into Steam, I usually download my games off GOG.com.

For the life of me, I can’t play such games. I just can’t navigate my way around with both the keyboard and mouse. I find such games too complicated for my liking but it looks really cool on your screenshots though! :D

Hanging around in you PJ’s all day, doing what you love best are *always* good days! (plan on doing it myself today!)

    I. Love. Diablo. Seriously. We reinstalled it a few weeks ago and played nonstop haha. We can’t afford WoW time right now so D2 was a good backup.

This game looks really neat though, but I love Diablo, so of course Ill say that. Im looking up all the info now to see if I can get the demo or something :D

Oh, that game looks neat. I might have to install it on our “gaming” computer, which is really just an overclocked computer Andrew and I built last year to hold all of the games we like a lot but don’t play everyday because WoW has stolen our souls.

Caity — This is my first visit since you put up the new site. I like it very much. Then again red and black are two of my favorite colors:~)

I kind of envy you and your generation about the games. I never really learned this, but the graphics make it look so real. To me, it’s like you get to step inside an adventure story and be part of it.

Have fun with your site and your new game:~)

p.s. New Zealand? Wow. It sounds like you’ll have your own adventure soon!

The game looks pretty nice. It’s been a while since I’ve played anything besides Wii Sports.
