Random Thoughts

1. I don’t like olives.
2. I recently have become infatuated with doing my nails. This actually started last year when I was in New York City and got my first manicure.
3. I am pretty addicted to Words With Friends and Hanging With Friends on my phone. (Want to play me? My name is caitysparkles.)
4. Even though we have Reirei, I miss our cat Moko who is still back in New York living with my parents.
5. I’m getting pretty upset lately with myself that I haven’t been dieting and exercising and getting closer to my weight loss goal. I lost 60 pounds and then I started my new job and it fell by the wayside. I’m so close yet so far!
6. I joined a new community choir this week and I’m really excited about it.
7. I have acquired a bicycle this past week so once I fix the tire I can rectify my no exercising problems.
8. I love to take photographs and I really want to get better this year instead of just staying at the same skill level (which is: not so great).
9. I really want a haircut. I have had really long hair in the past and I just like my hair short now.
10. I’m angry at my organizational skills lately. In high school, I was incredibly organized but at the moment, I feel like I’d lose my head if it wasn’t attached to my shoulders. This is unacceptable! Perhaps I just need to indulge myself in some epic office supplies for my classroom?
11. I don’t wear makeup.

Questions From Amanda

1. If you could wake up every morn­ing, open your bed­room blinds, and look out a huge glass win­dow at the per­fect view, what would that view be?

The sunrise over some sort of beautiful nature with no man made crap or buildings in the way.

2. If you had to choose your own epi­taph of eight words or fewer (besides name and dates) what would it say?

Seeked adventure. Found love.

3. If you could walk into any paint­ing and actu­ally expe­ri­ence the moment or scene it depicts, which paint­ing would you choose to enter?

It would probably be some sort of Norman Rockwell painting. They tell such awesome stories. I remember when I was a kid, my pediatrician had this painting in the wall in his room and I loved it.


4. You’ve been given the chance to travel into the future to see how the world will change over the next 50 years. What change in par­tic­u­lar are you most inter­ested in?

First of all, do I even want to travel into the future? If I do go, then I’m interested to see how technology changes.

5. If you could change the end­ing to any movie you have ever seen, what movie would it be and how would you alter the way it ends?

The only one I can think of was The Lovely Bones but it wasn’t just the ending – I was pissed off at that whole movie.

6. If, instead of actu­ally writ­ing out your name, you now had to “sign” your name with a sim­ple draw­ing of some­thing, what would you draw each time to rep­re­sent who you are?

A rainbow coming out of an exclamation point and going onto another cloud!!! Why? Because it makes me happy!

7. If you were to die tomor­row, what would you want peo­ple to remem­ber you for most of all?

How morbid. Probably for how upbeat and positive I am. Maybe how I was a pretty good singer?

8. What is some­thing that many peo­ple con­sider a modern-day con­ve­nience that you, quite frankly, con­sider a pain in the neck?

Microwaves. I hate microwaves. I don’t own one and I don’t want one, thank you very much!

9. If you could be one of the world’s “most wanted” but wanted because of some great skill you pos­sess, what skill would you want to have?

I’d be super genius smart. (That sentence was even funnier before I went back and spelled genius correctly. I mistyped it first time.)

10. Most peo­ple have a favorite story or expe­ri­ence that they love to share with other peo­ple. Here’s your chance: What’s your story?

I don’t only have one story or experience. My life is full of them. That’s what makes life so amazing! My most recent one was moving across the world. That was pretty damn amazing.
