I'm Caity, a 25 year old living in New York with my husband, Josh. I'm a math teacher, amateur photographer, gamer, dreamer, blogger, singer, self-proclaimed dork, and wannabe kiwi. I sparkle!
Josh and I bought a case of Snapple today as a treat. I found my Snapple Fact to be rather ironic, so I thought I would share it with you!
Stepping out for a walk every day can actually help you sleep better at night.
I thought it was really ironic for a few reasons. First of all, I have been sleeping very poorly. As you know, I had to stay overnight at a hospital last week for a sleep study and I’ve been extremely exhausted lately.
Unrelated, I’ve made two other vows to myself lately. One thing I have mentioned was that I wanted to start taking my father’s dog, Baylee, for more walks since she is here at my father’s office (which is right next to our apartment) and she will be here when I get home from work most days. It saves my dad some time and it gives me some exercise. Another thing that I wanted to do was try to go for more walks with my camera to hopefully boost my photography skills and get some better photos.
Here’s to more walking and hopefully to sleeping better! I actually never associated the two! Silly me. I blame my lack of sleep!

I really like the Snapple Fact you recieved and honestly, I think I should apply it to me to fix my darned sleeping schedule. It’s cool that you want to take Baylee for more walks. It will hopefully boost your spirits as you spend time with the fluffy friend =). Good luck finding photos.
OH! Do you have a tumblr?
Hey Caity,
I’m all for great sleeping at night…so here’s to great walks too!!
I can definitely say that walking does work. During our cruise Todd and I must have walked at least 3 miles every day and we were exhausted every night, I think the latest we were able to stay up was 10pm!
Dogs love to walk (and run!) so you have a buddy that will never let you down :-)

that’s a coincidence, but I don’t see how it’s ironic
Yep. I don’t use it as often as I should, though.

ironic can mean coincidental or unexpected
Walking definitely works. Since I had to give up my daily walks due to frequent gallbladder BS, I’ve slept poorly, and I can’t wait to get back on track with that. *nod*
How does sleep study work? They attach thingies to your head or just basically stare at you while you sleep? :D
Wow that is so freaky! I have to agree though. Walking does wonders. I love walking. I try to get in at least an hour every day. It really does a lot of good for you. :)
Good luck! I can see how walking could make you sleep better, I’m sure I’d be tired after, haha.
Yay!
Walking is fun!
I wish I had time to do it more often, and to other parts of the city. But I usually just go around the block to take my daily pictures. Soon I’ll be out of places/things to photograph if I stick to this route…
LOL Well, duh! xD
Wow, its been a long time since I’ve seen Snapple! It’s only sold in higher-end grocery stores here.
I say you try the Snapple Fact and let us know how it works for you.
What a perfect snapple fact for you (in so many ways)!
